Did you guess where our Belle bag is? Terri in Portland, Oregon, USA has taken her Belle bag on a visit to Powell's City of Books, the world's largest new and used bookstore. "Powell's covers an entire city block in downtown Portland and houses more than a million books. Truly, heaven on earth for book lovers," she tells us.

Left to right:

1. Mt. Hood, east of Portland, seen from Mt. Tabor, a forested city park. On a clear day, you may also see Mt. St. Helens, Mt. Adams and Mt. Jefferson, all part of the Cascade Mountain Range.

2. The central Oregon coast near Newport. The Oregon coast is a popular destination for millions of visitors every year; it combines the wildness of rocky shorelines, great expanses of sandy beaches and some fun tourist towns.

3. Portland's Eastbank Esplanade on the Willamette River is a popular gathering place for all sorts of people—walkers, joggers, musicians, photographers and people who just like to sit and read. The Willamette (pronounced will-A-met) flows through downtown Portland and meets up with the Columbia River near the Oregon/Washington border. A dozen unique bridges connect east and west Portland across the Willamette, giving the city one of its nicknames, Bridge City. Another popular nickname is the City of Roses, in part because it's home to the International Rose Test Garden.
